製作美觀耐用的器皿」是我創作的中心思想。不為普通的物件賦予美或尋求實用價值，而是將其視為生活的一部份。製作和設計物件的同時，即是我創作的時機。經由我製作的物件，不是偉大思想的載體，也不是作家生命歷程的載體； 杯子拿來喝茶，碗拿來吃飯，一件稱職的物件即是生活的載體。
"Creating aesthetically pleasing and durable vessels" is at the core of my philosophy. I do not seek to imbue ordinary objects with beauty or practical value, but rather view them as an integral part of life itself. The act of crafting and designing objects is my moment of creation. Objects designed and created by me are not vessels for grand ideas or the life journey of an author; a competent object, whether a cup for tea or a bowl for meals, is itself a vessel for life.
