我進入茶與茶道的世界，是在新加坡生活期間，與日本陶藝家山口紗矢（Saya Yamaguchi）共事時開始的。她引領我接觸日本茶道，也為我的創作打開了一扇門。從一開始，我就專注於從自然環境中汲取靈感，以陶藝表現萬千紋理：梯田、岩石、水紋與植被，皆成為我形塑茶碗的語言。
遷居阿根廷後，我開始與陶藝家 Yami Carlino 合作，兩人一同探索「掏空」（Kurinuki）這門冥想般的技藝——在泥土中挖出空間，使其成為一只茶碗，再由茶將其填滿。
阿根廷壯麗的風景給了我豐富的創作素材：我採集安地斯山的火山灰，與陶土混合，並加入當地植物與岩石的質感，使茶碗成為我對這片土地敬意的表現。
My initiation to the world of tea and its rituals happened while living in Singapore where I worked with Saya Yamaguchi, a Japanese ceramist who introduced me to the Japanese tea ceremony. From the beginning, my focus was on shaping ceramics inspired by the myriad textures in the surrounding nature: rice terraces, rocks, water, vegetation.
After moving to Argentina, I started working with ceramist Yami Carlino and together we have explored the meditative art of kurinuki: creating the void that becomes a chawan that will in turn be filled again by tea.
Argentina is a country of amazing landscapes that has given me the possibility to collect ashes from several Andean volcanoes which I mix with stoneware, then add textures from local plants and rocks to create chawans that are an expression of the landscapes that I admire.
