Živa Slavec

Slovenian countryside its archeology and stunning natural environment is my workspace, center
of my inspiration and source of ceramic materials. Its woodlands flora and geology offers
never ending source of possibilities to create unique combinations of glazes and clay bodies.
To scout, to gather and process materials, to create new pieces and woodfire them with local
wood. Ceramics with genius loci (the spirit of location) has become my passion that could last
for several lifetimes.

來自臺灣的鄧羽婷和Anja Slapnicar（斯洛維尼亞）一起建造而成。
斯洛維尼亞鄉下的古歷史與壯闊的天然環境就是我的工作室，也是我靈感與陶藝原料的來
源。取自林地中的植物群與地質的釉藥與坯土，帶來無限的組合與可能。讓我可以探索、採
集、處理材料並創作新的作品，再以當地的木柴入窯燒製。帶有場所精神（genius loci）的
陶器已經成為我的熱情所在，足以滋潤我好幾個人生。
