Yu-Ting Teng 鄧羽婷

The "Yu Chi Liu" Chawan set features a prominent spout and simplified wing-shaped sides. I
use handwedging clay, with volcanic clay collected from Taiwan used as makeup soil. The set
undergoes high-temperature wood-fired kiln firing, allowing the clay minerals to regenerate
and create a rich and warm natural texture. The spout chawans are designed for an open brewing
method, suitable for teas that do not require high temperature, such as honey black tea
and Oriental Beauty tea. The tea liquor is less likely to become bitter, and it allows the direct
enjoyment of the tea leaves' aroma. Using these chawans becomes an internalized harmony, a
ritual of daily life.

羽熾流碗組，造型上有一流嘴，兩側以簡化的翅膀造型，以親手煉製的土，採集台灣的火山
泥作為化妝土，使用環保柴窯高溫柴燒，以熾熱的火焰讓土礦新生，產生濃烈溫潤的天然質
感。有流茶碗，屬於開放式的沖泡法，適合不需要高溫的茶葉，例如蜜香紅茶、東方美人等，
茶湯不容易苦澀
