Founded in 2008, the Miaoli Ocarina Ensemble often participates in major domestic and international ocarina exchange concerts. More than half of its members are ocarina instructors from the Miaoli region. The ensemble aims to use the ocarina’s sound to foster connections among people and spread a harmonious atmosphere far and wide.

The ocarina is a small wind instrument with a pure, flowing tone—clear and bright, reminiscent of birdsong and running water.

The Golden Melody Ocarina Class of Miaoli Community College has cultivated not only musical literacy through weekly lessons but also the joy of collaboration and harmony in ensemble performance. In this concert, they will present a selection of moving pieces—from familiar classics to lively and cheerful miniatures—arranged in 2–3 part harmonies, showcasing the unique charm of the ocarina while sharing both their learning achievements and the delight of music.
