Steeping tea in the bowl is about more than the aroma. From the stimulation on the taste buds, to the aftertaste, to the full-body enjoyment, they all serve to further the confusion of the visual senses. Seeing the jade-colored tea flow like clouds into the chawan sends my heart pounding. I believe everyone should find a chawan that belongs exclusively to themselves.
