I remember when I was little, my father would sometimes take the entire family to see singing performances at the local lounge. While waiting for the show to start, the waiter would serve tea with the jasmine and leaves steeped in a glass, and this would become the tea of my memories. When I finally began drinking tea as an adult, tea was no longer served with the leaves and lost was the joy of watching them dance in the water. When the single-bowl service method was developed, I was reminded of the days gone by. By exhibiting my chawans, I hope that, as people are drink tea, they can enjoy the elegance of Taiwanese tea while experiencing the beauty of the vessel
