"Innovating from Tradition". Throughout the evolution of ceramics in Chinese history, different tones and styles have been expressed despite similar shapes and decorations. So I have kept pondering whether there is room for innovation in the traditional vessel; whether there is room for experimentation in glazes and decorations. Through this, I hope to present traditional ceramics with the aesthetics of modern times. "Clay body production" takes traditional designs as the foundation, with modifications and alterations made to give it a more streamlined and modern feel.
