In 2012, the Taiwan Urasenke Tea Ceremony Association was registered as a non-profit organization under the Ministry of the Interior. Members began their tea journey under the guidance of Professor Zong-Gui Guan and continued their studies until Professor Guan returned to Japan due to age, ending the training at the Beitou classroom. However, their love for the tea ceremony and introspection led them to frequently gather at a 4.5 tatami tea room at home for further study and exchange of experiences.
Invited by the Taiwan International Chawan Festival, in response to the theme " Circulation of Goodness," the event was named "Unryu" Tea Ceremony, echoing the idea of "continuous learning, like flowing water and wandering clouds." "Continuously learning, like flowing water and wandering clouds, advancing day by day without end."
"The Seven Rules of Rikyu": "Choose good tea, ensure boiling water with proper fire, use wildflowers, provide coolness in summer and warmth in winter, prepare ahead of time, have rain gear ready, and be attentive to guests." Tea ceremony is simple yet not simple.
